Kayla Monroe

Born and raised in western Kentucky, Kayla moved to Colorado in 2007 after graduating from Murray State University with a Political Science degree, focusing on Pre-Law. Born and raised in western Kentucky, Kayla moved to Colorado in 2007 after graduating from Murray State University with a Political Science degree, focusing on Pre-Law. She and her husband, Josh, live in Brighton with their two daughters and poochon - a poodle bichon mixed dog. For a couple of years, they lived in the Northshore area of southeast Louisiana, where she picked up on a few lip-smacking Cajun recipes. Kayla began her professional career in property management before turning her focus on her family. After owning an event decorating business for 6 years, she decided to take her passion of serving others and connecting with people to real estate. Outside of the real estate world, Kayla enjoys cooking, hosting gatherings, attending church, and decorating her home for different seasons and holidays. She is also not shy of a DIY home improvement project. Kayla is a true believer in giving back by spending time volunteering at her kids’ school as well as on her neighborhood’s HOA board. She and her family love anything sports related – from football to baseball to racing – on the college and professional levels.
