After college, she became a flight attendant and just a few years later decided to go into property management where her career took off. She longed to be in a bustling city and moved to Washington DC where she met her husband, John.

After a trip to Colorado in 1994, they fell in love with the Rockies and decided to make it their permanent home where they would grow their family and plant long-term roots.
