After growing up in Denver and the surrounding areas, Barry moved west for college where he obtained his degree in mathematics from University of California. After growing up in Denver and the surrounding areas, Barry moved west for college where he obtained his degree in mathematics from University of California. For several years, he worked as a teacher and in sales/manufacturing. In 1997, Barry bought his first home, and in 1998, his first small investment condo. Purchasing these homes sparked an idea in him that would eventually materialize. After living in Spain for 3 years as a corporate English teacher and meeting his wife Natalia, he decided on a career shift and became a licensed real estate agent in 2003. 

Barry loves the relationships that he builds with his clients, whether that develops over a few short weeks or whether it is someone he has known forever. Real estate is a people business, and Barry learns something new with every client that he works with and strives to maintain those relationships. Barry also loves the challenge of seeing real estate through the eyes of those he works for. Each individual or entity views their real estate transaction(s) through a different set of lenses. Understanding a client’s situation, reasoning, motivations, and short-/long-term needs and goals enables him to serve them at the highest level, which is his ultimate objective.

Having lived in Denver most of his life, Barry is knowledgeable about the Denver Metro market. He has a love for Denver and Colorado and has seen the changes as far back as the 1970’s to what we enjoy today. 

When not working, Barry enjoys spending time with his amazing wife Natalia and his two growing children Alba and Gael. He also enjoys playing tennis, hiking, biking, and skiing. Barry reads in both English and Spanish and tries to keep up on current events and news. He has a passion for youth athletics and has coached several of his son’s teams.
